We have a brand new carpet warehouse and we're looking for motivated, dedicated employees to add to our team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Unloads in-bound freight, verifies the material matches the order and records any damages or shortages.
Obtains driver s signature on bill of lading.
Assembles store shipments by palletizing, shrink wrapping and labeling the units.

Inspects the shipment, ensuring it is securely covered and strapped.
Adheres to safety requirements when operating tools and equipment.
Ensures safety functions on equipment are operating properly.
Handles material in a safe and appropriate manner.
Reports any defects or safety issues immediately.
Completes required safety training.

Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred, but not required
Ability to work 40+ hours per week (5 to 6 days per week)
Knowledge and expertise in the use of a variety of tools
Ability to do repetitious work
Must be able to work at a fast pace
Ability to work in a team environment

Position requires manual dexterity and the ability to maintain physical activity for most of the day
Pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and lifting (up to 150 lbs.)
Work will be completed in a warehouse environment. Employee will be exposed to weather elements at times, heavy equipment fumes.
Must be able to work without sitting for long periods of time while walking throughout warehouse.
Must be able to grasp and turn steering wheels for trucks and forklifts.
Must be able to reach to place and remove products
Must be able to read labels on products, supplies, or materials written in English
Must be able to hear other vehicles, forklifts, vehicles horns and other warning signals. Able to carry, bend, stoop, turn, kneel, crawl, climb a ladder, and other manual labor activities
