Warehouse Associate

Position Summary

SalSon Logistics is seeking reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associates to support daily operations. This role is critical to ensuring freight moves safely, accurately, and on time. The right candidate takes pride in their work, maintains high standards, and is looking for an opportunity to grow within a fast-paced logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
• Pick, pack, and stage orders with a high level of accuracy
• Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts (if certified)
• Label, store, and organize inventory in designated locations
• Conduct cycle counts and assist with inventory control processes
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and operational guidelines
• Support additional warehouse functions as needed to meet daily goals

Qualifications

• Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to follow instructions and work with a sense of urgency
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently when needed

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb for extended periods
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with varying temperatures
