Duties

• Operate equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to load, unload, move, and organize inventory efficiently and safely.
• Assist with order picking and packing using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Stock shelves and organize products within the warehouse, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, preparing items for dispatch, and updating inventory records in systems like AS400 or MRP.
• Use basic math skills to count stock accurately, calculate quantities for orders, and verify shipment details.
• Support warehouse distribution activities by coordinating with team members to load trucks and unload deliveries promptly.
• Maintain detailed records of inventory movements, order processing, and safety inspections to ensure compliance with company standards.

Skills

• Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in warehouse distribution and inventory management.
• Certification or experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and MRPs (Material Requirements Planning systems).
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, AS400 or similar ERP platforms for order processing.
• Strong understanding of shipping & receiving procedures along with order picking & packing techniques.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts and order quantities.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail for stocking, order fulfillment, and record keeping.
