Warehouse Worker (Day or Night Shift)

Our locations are strategically located in key economic and transportation hubs including Chicago, Illinois since 2005.

Position Overview:

The warehouse workers report to the Warehouse manager and supervisors who ensure the handling and shipment of a quality product that meets or exceeds customer expectations.

Duties And Responsibilities:

Warehouse Worker responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, the following:

• Unload overseas containers and domestic deliveries
• Palletize and count product
• Properly use packing slips to check in product by item numbers
• Check delivered product for damage or possible contamination
• Responsible for placing Serial numbers and Reference numbers on pallets
• Responsible for safely using a manual pallet jack within the warehouse
• Responsible for receiving purchase orders through ERP System
• Sign for UPS, Uline and FedEx deliveries
• Deliver small packages from receiving area to office area
• Must adhere to all company policies and safety procedures
• Must ensure work areas are kept neat and clutter free at all times

In addition to the specific responsibilities listed above, the ideal candidate will possess the following:

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Standing and walking for long periods of time
• Repetitive movement such as bending, twisting and lifting
• Must be able to operate manual pallet jack, which requires pulling and pushing product

Working Conditions:

• Fast paced warehouse facility with variable temperatures due to climate

Skills and Qualifications:

• Ability to read and write English a plus
• Basic math skills and ability to use a calculator

Day Shift Rotating Schedule:

Week 1 Sun, Mon, Tues, Fri...5:00 am to 3:30 pm

Week 2 Wed, Thurs, Sat...5:00 am to 5:30 pm

Night Shift Rotating Schedule:

Week 1 Sun, Mon, Tues, Fri...3:30 pm to 2:00 am

Week 2 Wed, Thurs, Sat...5:00 pm to 5:30 am

$16.50/per hour
