About the Job

Bosphorus Imports is looking for a Warehouse worker to join our team. The warehouse worker performs a variety of warehouse duties, including receiving and processing incoming materials, filling requested orders, and organizing warehouse inventory. Employees are expected to work as a team and be physically active at work. When picking materials, you will pick product as outlined in each customer order for shipments daily, working in a clean environment with a focus on safety to help provide tile to our customers. Reports to Warehouse Manager.

DUTIES include, but are not limited to the following

• Accurately picks customers’ orders
• Palatalizes and shrink-wraps orders
• Loads and unloads pallets with heavy tiles off trucks with a forklift
• Stands/walks during shift and frequently push, pull, squat bend and reach
• Pre-pulls specific orders in a timely manner
• Maintains a clean warehouse
• Follows company’s procedures warranting a safe work environment.
• Works in various climates indoors and outdoors
• Follows the correct procedures to assist with customers
• Employees should be well-rounded when various tasks arise. i.e. Sample Supervisor requests.

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to operate a forklift is a MUST
• Valid CA drivers license is a MUST
• Having common sense is a MUST
• Ability to understand shipping and receiving procedures
• Good verbal communication skills
• Dependable and punctual
• Neat, well-organized, detail-oriented
• Ability to coordinate well with others
• Reliable transportation

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Standing up to a maximum of 8 hours per day; use of upper body and back muscles to lift objects; and must be able to lift 45-50 lbs
