Warehouse Worker/Material Handler

Job Overview:

As a Warehouse Worker/Material Handler at our Transportation Service Company, you will be a vital part of our logistics and supply chain operations. You are responsible for the efficient and safe handling of goods, ensuring accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of products.

Responsibilities:

Receiving & Unloading:

• Receive incoming shipments from carriers and verify the accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Inspect goods for damage, defects, or discrepancies and report any issues to a supervisor.

Storage & Put-Away:

• Accurately label, tag, and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
• Maintain organized and clean storage areas to ensure efficient picking and safety.

Order Picking & Staging:

• Pick products from shelves and storage areas according to customer orders or shipping manifests.
• Assemble and stage picked orders in the designated shipping area for final verification and loading.
• Ensure all picked orders are accurate in both item and quantity.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to stand, sit, and/or walk for extended periods of time.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $21.81 - $25.86 per hour

Expected hours: 1 per week
