Warehouse/Delivery Driver

*** MUST HAVE A CLEAN BACKGROUND AND DRIVING RECORD

Job purpose

To safely and efficiently deliver all outgoing orders to the correct customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Duties and responsibilities

· Deliver customer orders on assigned route.

· Pick-up and deliver machines and secure them safely in truck.

· Report any mistakes in the order (Customer refusals, wrong items loaded, etc.) to the Operations Manager.

· Receive any cash or check payments from customers and turn in with paperwork at the end of the day.

· Unload any additional product such as returned or damaged items to the Warehouse Staff to be checked in and processed

· Remove and sort all remaining items like pallets, empty drums or garbage.

· Report any Truck related mechanical issues to Warehouse Manager.

Qualifications and Requirement

· High School Diploma

· Driver’s license

· Time Management

· Hard working and Reliable

· Clean Driving Record

· Delivery experience

Working conditions

The hours of the Delivery Driver can change depending on route and time of year. Drivers arrive to the Warehouse by 7:30am and can be back by as early as 12:00pm or as late as 8:00pm. The summer months can make the back of the truck very warm and drivers will be constantly climbing in and out of back of truck.

Physical requirements

Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time and lift and set at least 40 pounds. Must be able to continuously climb in and out of box truck and operate lift gates to deliver larger product such as drums and machines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
