Job Summary:
The Warehouse & Logistics Manager will oversee the entire warehouse operations — including inventory control, dispatch planning, courier coordination, and order fulfillment. The role requires a person who understands logistics flow, shipping platforms, and warehouse management systems, ensuring smooth, accurate, and timely dispatch of all e-commerce orders.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Management
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct periodic stock audits.
- Ensure optimal space utilization, workflow efficiency, and proper manpower allocation.
- Manage inward and outward goods, damage control, and return (RTO) process.
- Implement and monitor warehouse safety, cleanliness, and discipline standards.
Logistics & Dispatch Operations
- Handle daily order dispatches (2,000–3,000+ orders/day) across multiple courier partners.
- Generate, verify, and manage shipping labels, invoices, and manifests through software like Shiprocket, Unicommerce, Shopify, or Pickrr.
- Strategically plan dispatch by region/zone based on courier performance and delivery timelines.
- Monitor and ensure on-time pickup, tracking, and delivery.
- Coordinate with logistics partners (Delhivery, Bluedart, Xpressbees, etc.) for smooth pickups and issue resolutions.
- Track shipment status, handle escalations, and reduce RTO or delivery failures.
Inventory & Data Management
- Monitor stock flow between zones, warehouses, and marketplaces.
- Analyze order trends to plan stock replenishment and warehouse allocation.
- Prepare daily/weekly reports — dispatch count, courier performance, stock variance, and manpower productivity.
- Ensure complete synchronization between physical stock and system stock.
Team & Coordination
- Supervise warehouse staff, pickers, packers, and logistics executives.
- Conduct regular team training on packaging quality, system updates, and process efficiency.
- Coordinate with operations, procurement, and sales teams for order prioritization and planning.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of e-commerce warehouse & logistics operations.
- Hands-on experience with inventory management and shipping software (Shiprocket, Unicommerce, etc.).
- Excellent planning, coordination, and leadership abilities.
- Analytical mindset for route, cost, and dispatch optimization.
- Basic knowledge of Excel and data-driven reporting.
