OKIE Tool and Equipment Rental is a full-service tool and equipment rental Yard with a huge volume of name-brand and high-demand construction tools and equipment, including Case, Manitou, JLG, Kubota, Ditch-witch, Barretta, Yale, Concrete Equipment and more.The Okie experience for our customers and our employees is founded on safety, service, and a clean and newer fleet. As the wash-bay attendant, you will pressure wash returned rental equipment, provide basic preventative maintenance checks (check fluids, grease, blow-out or change air filters)and get the unit back on the ready-to-rent line. You will also inspect equipment for damages and relay mechanical work needed on machines to the service department. The OKIE Wash-bay Attendant is responsible for moving equipment into the wash-bay and then back out onto the yard in a safe and particular manner. You will communicate mainly using a radio to communicate with the rental counter. You will pay attention to details such as vin numbers andfuel amounts on equipment.

The wash-bay position also assists other yard employees to assist customers and delivery drivers with safe load procurement. The Wash-bay role allows you to get familiar with all of the equipment, including grease ports, screens, oils, fuel, etc., and is a natural step-position to become a yard coordinator where you could make Yard logistics a career; some employees start in the wash-bay and then go onto work in Service, sales, or store management.

The ideal

Wash-bay Attendant is friendly and enjoys working around equipment and enjoys working outside in all types of Oklahoma weather. This is a dirty job and we will provide you with uniforms. This individual must take pride in their work and be able to manage their wash-bay independently without a lot of supervision.The Wash-bay attendant must be ready at a moment's notice to assist the other yard personnel to assist with loading or unloading equipment. We will train the successful candidate with the OKIE standards of clean machines and we will teach you about equipment safety along with the basic operations of the machines in our yards. We operate with a Safety-first mentality!

In addition to learning equipment and the wash-bay, we are looking for the person who is willing to cross train in different areas of our business and to be open minded about future advancement---we promote from within first as opportunities become available. Okie is open to serve our business Monday through Friday from 7AM-5PM; closed on weekends because weekends are for families. We conduct business in a Safety-Sensitive environment--a clean drug test is required to be hired and may be required on a random basis. Medical cards for Marijuana doesn't qualify you to work for our company. No pot or other drugs permitted. You must have a valid DL and be insurable.
