Water Process Specialist

Role Purpose

The Water Process Specialist is responsible for the technical oversight, performance assurance, and regulatory compliance of all water-related systems within a mission-critical, zero-downtime facility environment .

The role ensures continuous availability, quality, and safety of water services supporting large-scale public use.


Key Responsibilities

Water Systems Oversight

  • Oversee the operation and performance of potable water, treated water, process water, and related distribution systems.
  • Monitor system reliability, availability, and operational readiness at all times.
  • Ensure water systems meet operational demand during peak periods.

Water Quality & Compliance

  • Review water quality testing results, laboratory reports, and compliance records.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable standards, regulations, and approved operating limits.
  • Identify deviations in quality parameters and initiate corrective actions.

Performance Monitoring & Analysis

  • Analyze operational logs, trends, and incidents related to water systems.
  • Investigate recurring issues, failures, or service interruptions.
  • Lead root cause analysis and recommend permanent technical solutions.

Contractor & Operations Coordination

  • Coordinate with O&M contractors to ensure correct operation and maintenance practices.
  • Review contractor reports, method statements, and corrective action plans.
  • Support operational teams during incidents, shutdowns, and emergency scenarios.

Risk & Continuity Management

  • Support contingency planning and emergency response related to water systems.
  • Identify operational risks and propose mitigation measures.
  • Ensure system resilience and service continuity under abnormal conditions.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare technical reports on system performance, risks, and improvement actions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and operational records.
  • Support management with technical input and decision-making data.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Environmental Engineering , or a related discipline.
  • 15–20 years of experience in water systems, treatment processes, or large-scale facility operations.
  • Strong understanding of water treatment processes, system hydraulics, and operational controls.
  • Experience working in large, high-occupancy, or critical facilities .
  • Ability to analyze technical data and lead investigations.
