WATER TREAMENT TECHNICIAN

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Water Treatment Technician responsible for maintaining, servicing, and troubleshooting various water treatment systems, with required knowledge of electrical and plumbing works, including RO Plants, Chemical Dosing Systems, Filtration Units, Pumps, and all related water treatment equipment.
The candidate must ensure smooth system performance, quality control, and timely service for all water treatment projects.

Immediate joining is required, and a NOC must be provided.

Key Responsibilities (Not Limited To):

RO Plant Maintenance & Troubleshooting

• Maintain and troubleshoot Reverse Osmosis (RO) plants.
• Perform regular checks on pumps, membranes, pre-filters, HP pumps, and instrumentation.
• Carry out membrane cleaning (CIP) and filter replacement as per schedule.
• Monitor TDS, pH, pressure, and flow parameters to ensure optimal system performance.

Chemical Dosing Systems

• Install, calibrate, and maintain chemical dosing pumps and tanks.
• Prepare and handle treatment chemicals (antiscalant, chlorine, acid, alkali, disinfectants).
• Monitor chemical levels and ensure correct dosing to maintain water quality.
• Follow safety procedures for chemical handling and storage.

Water Treatment Equipment Maintenance

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on:
• Sand Filters
• Carbon Filters
• Cartridge Filters
• Softener Systems
• UV Systems
• Pressure Vessels
• Control Panels
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and basic electrical faults related to water treatment systems.

Electrical & Plumbing Works

• Should have practical knowledge of electrical and plumbing works related to water treatment systems.
• Perform basic electrical tasks such as checking wiring, control panels, sensors, and motor connections.
• Carry out plumbing works including pipeline installation, valve replacement, leak fixing, flushing, and system cleaning.

MEP-Related Works

• Perform basic MEP tasks including plumbing connections, pump installation, and minor electrical wiring.
• Assist in alignment, testing, and integration of water treatment systems with building MEP networks.

Quality Control & Reporting

• Conduct routine water quality tests (TDS, chlorine, pH, ORP, conductivity).
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, chemical consumption, and service reports.
• Report breakdowns and abnormalities to the supervisor in a timely manner.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow company safety procedures and standards.

Customer & Team Support

• Provide professional support during client visits, inspections, and service calls.
• Coordinate with the technical team for smooth execution of projects.
• Assist in training junior technicians when required.
• Ensure proper chemical storage and MSDS compliance.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene at plant rooms and worksites.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in water treatment systems.
• Must have knowledge of electrical and plumbing works related to water treatment systems.
• Ability to read system drawings and troubleshoot issues.
• Physically fit and able to work in plant and outdoor environments.
• Available for immediate joining.
• Valid Qatar driving licence.

• Preference will be given to candidates with GCC experience.
