Position Summary

LCP Home Services is seeking dependable, hardworking individuals who are interested in learning a skilled trade and building a long-term career in the water treatment industry. No prior water treatment experience is required. We are looking for individuals with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn. As a Water Treatment Salt Service Technician, you will be responsible for servicing residential water treatment systems along an assigned route while delivering exceptional customer service and representing LCP Home Services professionally.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

After completing company training, the Water Treatment Salt Service Technician will:

  • Service residential water softener systems along an assigned route.
  • Deliver and replenish salt in residential water softener systems.
  • Safely load, transport, unload, and handle bags of salt throughout the workday.
  • Perform basic inspections of water treatment equipment to verify proper operation.
  • Test water quality and accurately document test results.
  • Check salt levels, regeneration cycles, and overall system performance.
  • Perform routine cleaning and preventive maintenance on water treatment equipment.
  • Identify equipment concerns or repair needs and report findings promptly.
  • Maintain accurate service records using company-approved systems.
  • Communicate professionally and courteously with customers.
  • Operate and maintain a company vehicle in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Keep company vehicles, tools, and equipment clean, organized, and properly maintained.
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and customer service standards.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • No previous water treatment experience required.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to successfully complete company-provided training.
  • Ability to work independently while managing an assigned daily service route.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent physical activity, including:

  • Regular lifting and carrying of salt bags weighing up to 50–80 pounds.
  • Repeated bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pushing, and pulling throughout the workday.
  • Standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Loading and unloading materials from company vehicles.
  • Working outdoors in varying Florida weather conditions, including heat, humidity, and rain.
  • Entering and exiting company vehicles multiple times each day.

Work Environment

This position is primarily performed outdoors at residential customer locations. Employees regularly work around plumbing systems, water treatment equipment, and mechanical components while traveling throughout their assigned service area.

At-Will Employment

Employment with LCP Home Services is at will. Either the employee or the Company may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause or advance notice, subject to applicable law.

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
