Water Treatment Service Chemist

Our established client is a professional water treatment company, who deliver a wide range of technical water treatment duties to national clients. They are currently seeking the services of a competent and hard-working Water Treatment Service Chemist to join their team in the Cambridge area. The right candidate will have extensive hands on experience working within the water treatment sector and have previously under-taken the sampling and analysis of cooling towers, steam boilers and closed systems. Applications from Hertford, Milton Keynes, Colchester, Stevenage, and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience of working in a service chemist role, under-taking the analysis of system boilers, closed systems and cooling tower water.
• Hands on experience delivering water hygiene duties in accordance with ACOP L8.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Good working knowledge of water treatment/hygiene industry essential.
• Proficient with Microsoft office package.

Role

• Chemical Analysis on Cooling towers, Steam boilers and closed heated and chilled systems.
• Maintenance of Domestic and Industrial water systems.
• Routine monitoring tasks at various properties as per client requirements.
• Providing the full range of Service Chemist duties on an array of systems across a variety of sectors.
• Updating of Site Log Books.
• Maintain a professional working relationship with new and existing clients.
