Waterjet / CNC Programmer

Dahmes Stainless is seeking a Waterjet Operator to join our fabrication team. This position is responsible for operating waterjet cutting equipment, maintaining quality standards, and supporting production operations in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor waterjet cutting equipment.
• Load, unload, and stage materials using cranes and other lifting devices.
• Read job packets, nest sheets, and drawings to identify and organize parts.
• Perform deburring, finishing, and quality inspections on completed parts.
• Complete routine equipment maintenance and maintain a clean work area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CNC machine operation or related manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read work instructions, drawings, and production documents.
• Basic computer skills and strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification and safely handle materials.

Preferred Experience

• High school diploma or GED.
• Waterjet, CNC, or metal fabrication experience.
• Experience with stainless steel finishing and deburring.
• Familiarity with abrasives, grinders, and shop equipment.
• CAD or CNC programming knowledge.

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
