Waterproofing/Insulation Production Manager

Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Waterproofing/Insulation Production Manager to lead our operations in the waterproofing and insulation sector. This role is vital in ensuring the efficient production of high-quality waterproofing membranes, insulation materials, and related construction products. As a key leader on our team, you will oversee daily production activities, coordinate with various departments, and uphold safety and quality standards. Your expertise will drive continuous improvement initiatives, optimize workflows, and ensure timely delivery of products that meet project specifications and client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of waterproofing and insulation product installation, including planning, scheduling, and overseeing daily operations to meet production targets.
• Supervise production staff, providing guidance on best practices for handling hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Coordinate with engineering and quality assurance teams to interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for accurate product fabrication.
• Implement process improvements to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and maintain high standards of craftsmanship in plastering, stucco application, caulking, trim carpentry, masonry, and concrete finishing.
• Oversee inventory management of raw materials such as waterproofing/Insulation components/materials, and construction supplies to ensure seamless workflow.
• Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols on construction sites and within facilities and job sites; conduct regular safety audits and training sessions.
• Maintain detailed documentation including schematics, technical specifications, quality reports, and production logs, etc.

Experience

• Proven experience in construction estimating, site supervision or production management within the waterproofing or insulation industry.
• Extensive hands-on knowledge of construction site operations involving waterproofing, insulation, Spray Foam, Fireproofing, Air Barrier spraying, etc.
• Skilled in blueprint reading and interpreting schematics for complex building systems; ability to translate technical drawings into precise installation processes.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with experience operating hand tools and power tools used in the installation processes.
• Familiarity with construction techniques as well as the use of scaffolding or other access equipment on job sites.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining high standards for safety and quality control.
• Knowledge of construction estimating practices combined with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously is highly desirable. Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
