Join our team as a Wave Instructor / Front Desk Associate, where your enthusiasm and dedication will inspire others to embrace the thrill of flowboarding and water sports! In this cross-trained role, you’ll be the friendly face welcoming customers, guiding them through lessons, safety protocols, and facility operations. Your energy will help create a lively, safe, and engaging environment that encourages growth, confidence, and fun for all ages and skill levels. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to combine your passion for water sports with excellent customer service skills while promoting a healthy, active lifestyle. Cross-trained role with separate shifts in each position, either coaching on the wave and ensuring safety, or managing front desk operations and guest experience.

Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures at the front desk
• Schedule and coordinate wave lessons, hot tub and sauna sessions, and special events with customers
• Provide safety instructions, equipment guidance, and water safety protocols to customers of all ages
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the facility, including equipment setup and storage
• Monitor the water area during lessons to ensure safety standards are upheld at all times
• Answer questions from visitors about programs, schedules, and facility amenities with enthusiasm and clarity
• Support instructors during classes by preparing gear, assisting with demonstrations, and ensuring smooth operations

Qualifications

• 16+
• Previous experience in a customer service or front desk role is preferred but not required
• Background in water sports or aquatic activities is a plus
• Background in teaching, coaching or tutoring is a plus
• Strong communication skills with an energetic and positive attitude
• Ability to stand, walk, and move around for extended periods in a lively environment
• Knowledge of water safety practices or willingness to learn is highly desirable
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays as needed

Pay: $15.50 - $16.00 per hour
