Waverly Staging + Design is a leading NYC-based staging and design firm working across luxury resale, new development, and model residences. We collaborate with some of the top-performing real estate teams in the city to create thoughtful, elevated interiors that drive results.
We are looking for a design-minded intern who is excited to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, high-end environment.
Who You Are
This role is **not** for someone looking for a typical desk internship.
You are:
* Genuinely interested in **interior design, styling, and visual composition**
* A proactive self-starter who takes initiative and solves problems quickly
* Energized by fast-paced, on-your-feet work days
* Detail-oriented with a strong visual eye
* Organized, reliable, and able to manage time effectively
* Positive, flexible, and team-oriented
* Comfortable lifting up to 45 lbs and being active throughout the day
* Familiar with Google Workspace + Microsoft Office; quick to learn new tools (Slack, Trello, inventory systems)
*Bonus if you’re studying or have studied interior design, architecture, or a related field—but not required.*
What You’ll Do
Including but not limited to:
* Assist Production Managers with staging installations and breakdowns across NYC
* Work hands-on with furniture and accessories to bring design concepts to life
* Pull, organize, and pack accessories based on styling direction
* Support on-site styling and ensure design execution aligns with the team’s vision
* Maintain organization of inventory, storage, and warehouse systems
* Track inventory movement between warehouse and job sites
* Coordinate with team members and vendors as needed
* Help problem-solve in real time on active job sites
Schedule & Details
* Part-time internship
* 3 days per week
* 8-hour shifts
* In-person (NYC-based, travel within NYC required)
Compensation
* $15/hour

* Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
* Ability to commute within NYC required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
