Role within the Studio: The Waxer works closely with the CEC and Lab Assistant in order to perform waxing services that exceed customer expectations. They only follow techniques and procedures which they will have learned at the Uni K Wax University. They will be able to speak confidently about our in-house wax and its unique properties as an Elastikwax. They will serve as Uni K Wax brand ambassadors who will build rapport with the customers by addressing any concerns, answering questions and making them feel like the valued customers that they are.

Experience: Not required. We train all of our waxers at the Uni K Wax University.

Licenses: Valis State License (such as Cosmetology, skin care specialist, waxing, esthetician etc.) Check with you State's Board of cosmetology to verify license status. Upon completion of the Uni K Wax training program, Candidates will receive a certificate of completion from Uni K Wax University.

Description:

The studio waxer will be able and willing to perform all professional waxing services offered by Uni K Wax Studios to both Male and Female customers (including Teens) without exception; all the while adhering to the Uni K Wax technique, processes, policies and procedures as learned at Uni K Wax University. The waxer must possess excellent customer service communication skills and must possess the ability to promote the brand. They will demonstrate the ability to consistently follow established procedures and show impeccable attention to detail. They will use their excellent communication skills to answer customer questions and concerns, if any, with courtesy, professionalism and truthfully. They will education their customer on our Unique Wax and technique. Waxers will be asked to remain positive during interactions with customers, stay upbeat and energetic while working in a fast-paced environment. waxer will be required to uphold the Uni K Wax Brand Standards at all times.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

- Arrive 15 minutes prior to shift (in order to prepare for the day)

- Perform Waxing services which result in no hairs left and no wax residue left

- Be able to keep up with a fast-paced environment

- Be prompt when paged by receptionist

- Provide CEC with estimate of time remaining when paged in regard to customer waiting

- Complete service within time allotted for said service

- Evaluate their customer's skin care needs and offer Sense retail products to meet customers skin type needs

- Provide CEC With Customers' recommendation slip of Sense retail product.

- Clean floors, walls, waxing beds, cart and bottles between customer appointments

- Remove wax warmer and trash after every service from waxing room

- Discard wax and trash left over from each service in Lab

- Leave wax room clean, neat and organized at tend of shift

- Attend all studio meeting and training sessions

- Able and willing to work flexible hours, weekend, and holidays

- Work well with all members of the Studio promoting a positive environment

- Perform other duties as assigned

- Wear Clean, wrinkle free uniform and wear shoe covers at all times while in the Studio

- Maintain hallways, reception area and waiting are free of disruption

- Limit cell phone use to break room area
