Role: Area Operation Manager- UFC GYM QATAR

Role Objective
Under the guidance of the Operation Director, the Operation Manager will be responsible for the overall operation of UFC Gym and any future projects or ventures as instructed by the Operation Director . This involves setting the overall strategy and objectives for the company in conjunction with the Operation Director , and executing that strategy in order to achieve those objectives.
Once the strategy and objectives for the company are set, the Operation Manager will be responsible for setting the structure of the company including the identification of required roles with job descriptions, the building of the organisational structure, the setting of a salary and commission/bonus structure, recruitment, the setting of brand standards, the implementation of policies and procedures, and the introduction of a training and development program in conjunction with the Operation Director and selected management to achieve the objectives of the company in line with the agreed strategy with the assistant and coordination with hr and having a fitness department as a whole.
The Operation Manager will be responsible for the performance of the fitness and operation as a whole in conjunction with the Operation Director and coordination within management, and will seek to create a company that is motivated and consistently meeting and exceeding expectations. This will be achieved by identifying and setting goals, KPIs and targets based upon the overall strategy and objectives of the company that motivates management and team members and sets a standard for excellence within the company overall focus on performance fitness department
Finally, the Operation Manager will continually seek to grow and develop the company by keeping their finger on the pulse of the fitness industry, listening to the needs and wants of our members and team members, identifying opportunities for growth and development within the market, and proposing solutions that capitalize upon those opportunities in line with the strategy and objectives of the operation overall.
Duties and Responsibilities
● Responsible for the overall operation of UFC Gym and any fitness and operations under the guidance and instruction of the CEO.
● Responsible for setting the overall strategy and objectives take part in conjunction with the CEO and another management .
● Responsible for the execution of the agreed upon strategy in order to achieve the agreed upon objectives in conjunction with the CEO.
● Responsible for setting the structure of the operation and fitness including the identification of required roles with job descriptions and the building of the organizational structure in conjunction with the CEO.
● Responsible for the setting of a salary and commission/bonus structure in conjunction with the CEO.
● Responsible for recruitment within the operation in conjunction with the CEO and selected management, including the screening of applications, conducting of interviews, providing feedback after interviews and recommending candidates for roles at UFC Gym that fit within the organizational structure.
● Responsible for the setting of brand standards within the company in conjunction with the CEO and selected management.
● Responsible for the implementation of policies and procedures within the company in conjunction with the CEO and selected management.
● Responsible for the introduction of a training and development program within the company in conjunction with the CEO and selected management.
● Responsible for the performance of the company in general. Identifying and setting goals, KPIs and targets for the selected management that motivates them and sets a standard for excellence which translates to their team members and creates an environment where expectations are consistently met or exceeded.
● Responsible for the growth and development of the company by identifying opportunities for growth and development within the market, and proposing solutions that capitalise upon those opportunities.
● Responsible for ensuring all aspects of the business are operating as efficiently and effectively as possible, working in conjunction with the CEO and selected management to ensure there is adequate staffing in place to meet the demands of the business, deliver the best service possible to customers and maximise revenue generation.
● Responsible for coordinating with all departments to ensure customer and staff satisfaction is maximised and issues are identified, reported and addressed at the earliest opportunity.
● Responsible Facility Management and can be have a coordination within the management such as hr, finance, marketing, procurement and IT in conjunction with the CEO to maintain efficient and effective operations within the company that achieve the company's organizational objectives overall.
Education and Work Experience Requirements
● MBA preferred.
● Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality/Business/Management.
● Recognised diploma/certification in Fitness.
● 8-10 years of relevant experience within hospitality or fitness industry operations, of which a minimum of 2-4 years should be in a supervisory/management role.
● Experience in GCC/Qatar is preferable.
● Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
● Valid driver’s licence preferred.
