We are looking for our next IoT Sales Engineer to join our US IoT Sales Team

Role and main tasks

As an IoT Sales Engineer, you will join the US based sales team and become a part of the global team of Technical Solutions Managers. This position is based in the U.S and reports directly to the Head of Region Americas.

In your role, you will work closely with the Sales organization as well as Product, Technology and IT Operations to design, build and evolve IoT solutions with new and existing customers across multiple verticals and products.

This position is home-based in the U.S

Key responsibilities & deliverables:

  • You will be working closely with our regional business development colleagues to assist in technical discussions, presentations, demonstrations and solution design verification, providing a large contribution for the team to reach regional and global sales targets.
  • Support regional account management colleagues by managing the technical solution evolution for existing customers.
  • Responsible for capturing, documenting, and managing solution design. Drive evolution requests for new and existing business towards internal departments, test and hand off work requests for customer covering all products and services.
  • Update solution verification information and relevant supporting documents.
  • Act as an interface between our Product and Sales departments, making sure that Telenor Connexion is responsive to customer requirements and always has the best services to offer our customers.
  • Represent Telenor Connexion in various events and exhibitions as needed.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years IoT / Telecom technical presales experience or equivalent with a demonstrated ability providing technical expertise to Sales/Business Development/Account Managers delivering solution-based products and services to end customers.
  • Technical understanding of IoT/telematics/M2M connectivity is required. Additional IoT solution experience in vertical specific industries such as Security, Utilities, Asset Management, Logistics, Insurance, transportation, and Automotive OEM is desirable.
  • Efficient in working with many types of customers, verticals and must be able to lead multiple technical projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communications skills, comfortable to hold presentations at CXO level both externally and internally
  • National and international travel is to be expected
  • Fluent in English
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.A
