Weatherization Insulation Installer - ComEd/Nicor

Job Title: Weatherization Worker
Location: McHenry County, IL

We are seeking a dedicated weatherization worker to join our team! This role focuses on providing essential services such as air sealing, insulation installation, and light carpentry for homes across the Chicagoland region. Please note, applicants must reside in McHenry County.

Key Responsibilities:

1 year of INSULATION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Perform air sealing and insulation installation with cellulose and foam materials
• Load and unload insulation and building materials onto trucks
• Install roof vents, caps, and bath fans
• Conduct drywall demolition and repair
• Manage removal of construction debris

The position requires working in confined spaces like attics and crawl spaces, so a smaller build may be beneficial. The job demands physical strength, including the ability to lift up to 60 lbs, and requires being medically cleared to wear a respirator.

Preferred Qualifications:

• OSHA and/or BPI certifications are a big plus

Pay Range: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
