Weaving Mechanic

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Weaving Mechanic to join our production team. This role is responsible for setup, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of weaving machinery to ensure high-quality production. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, and the ability to work in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform maintenance and overhauls on weaving machinery
• Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical issues on weaving machinery
• Set up weaving machinery according to production specifications
• Adjust machine settings to optimize performance and product quality
• Fix weaving wire upsets to get looms back up and running
• Accurately complete maintenance logs and records
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in accordance with company safety policies
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic reading, writing and math skills
• Ability to perform computer tasks
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Good hand/eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to tolerate exposure to hot, oily, and noisy environment
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to lift and carry up to 60 lbs. frequently, with or without lifting equipment
• Previous Industrial maintenance experience a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
