We are looking for a highly skilled Web & App Developer with strong experience in building scalable platforms, mobile applications, and e-commerce integrations. If you’re passionate about creating high-impact digital products in a fast-moving startup environment, this role is for you.

Position Overview

The Web & App Developer will lead the development of the ShopperON Web Platform and Mobile App (iOS & Android). You will be responsible for building creator dashboards, brand dashboards, affiliate tracking systems, live shopping features, and product tagging workflows.

This role requires someone who can work independently, collaborate closely with the founder, and build scalable, fast, and user-friendly applications.

Key ResponsibilitiesWeb Platform Development

• Develop, optimize, and maintain the ShopperON website.
• Build multi-tenant storefronts for creators and retail brands.
• Create dashboards for creators (analytics, commissions, product tagging).
• Build an admin backend panel for orders, payouts, and user management.
• Ensure website is mobile-responsive, SEO-friendly, and fast.

Mobile App Development

• Build and deploy the ShopperON mobile app on iOS and Android using Flutter or React Native.
• Implement:
• In-app livestreaming
• Product tagging
• Creator analytics
• Notifications
• Commission tracking
• Integrate app with web backend and third-party services.

Backend Development & Architecture

• Develop microservices-based backend using Node.js.
• Create secure authentication systems (OAuth, JWT).
• Integrate payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, Tabby, Tamara).
• Develop APIs for product tagging, creator storefronts, and commission tracking.
• Build and manage scalable databases for high traffic operations.
• Manage infrastructure on AWS or Google Cloud.

E-commerce & API Integrations

• Integrate with platforms such as Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, and custom APIs.
• Implement order tracking, UTM tracking, and conversion verification.
• Build affiliate tracking and sales attribution systems.

Livestream Commerce Development

• Integrate live video SDKs (Agora, Amazon IVS, TikTok API, Zoom SDK).
• Implement real-time chat and product pop-ups during livestreams.
• Ensure low-latency and high-quality streaming experiences.

Maintenance & Continuous Improvement

• Troubleshoot bugs and fix issues promptly.
• Perform code reviews and improve system architecture.
• Ensure data privacy, security, and compliance (GDPR, OWASP).
• Develop new features based on user feedback and platform growth.

Required Technical SkillsFrontend

Preferred Qualifications

• 4–7 years experience in full-stack development or mobile/web app development.
• Proven experience building e-commerce, marketplace, or creator-focused platforms.
• Strong portfolio of shipped apps or SaaS products.
• Ability to architect and scale large systems (multi-user dashboards, analytics, streaming).
• Experience working in fast-paced startup environments.
• Strong understanding of creator monetization, affiliate programs, or content platforms is a plus.

Compensation

• Competitive salary: AED 12,000 – 25,000 (based on experience)
• Opportunities for future equity/stock options as the product scales
