Web Design Specialist

Blossom Digital Marketing is seeking a Web Design Specialist to join our growing team and help us design, build, and maintain high-quality websites for businesses across Arizona. As part of Casa Grande Valley Newspapers Inc. and Kramer Media, we support a wide range of clients with full-service digital marketing — from social media and SEO to video production and website design.

The ideal candidate is a critical thinker and problem solver with strong WordPress and design experience. You’ll be responsible for creating modern, responsive websites that are optimized for both performance and user experience.

Responsibilities

• Design & Build: Develop responsive websites and landing pages using WordPress (Divi/Elementor).
• Front-End Work: Customize layouts and features using page builders and occasionally HTML, CSS, and light JavaScript.
• User Experience: Structure content, wireframe flows, and design for both clarity and conversions.
• SEO & Performance: Optimize for Core Web Vitals, on-page SEO, metadata, redirects, and schema.
• Analytics: Implement GA4 to support campaign tracking.
• Quality Control: Conduct cross-browser/device QA and ensure accessibility best practices.
• Maintenance: Manage site updates, maintain company-hosted websites for clients, troubleshoot plugin/theme issues, and assist with DNS, SSL, and backups.
• Collaboration: Work closely with our Director of Digital and production team to deliver projects on time.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of experience in web or graphic design or educational equivalent.
• Proficiency in graphic design programs such as Illustrator or Photoshop

Position is eligible for full-time benefits, including paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay, medical, dental and vision insurance and company 401K program. Compensation is DOE. Position is based in our downtown Casa Grande office. Successful candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen. EEO employer.
