JOB TITLE: Web Designer
LOCATION: Hybrid or on-site within Florida (remote may be allowed; on-site presence may be required with advance notice; flexibility required)
JOB TYPE: Full-Time (40 hrs/week)
COMPENSATION: $80,000–$95,000 base salary
WORK AUTHORIZATION: U.S. citizenship required; ability to pass a background check

POSITION OVERVIEW

Design user-friendly, accessible, and visually appealing web experiences for enterprise and public-sector clients. The Web Designer will collaborate with developers, architects, and analysts to create intuitive interfaces and ensure solutions meet branding, usability, and compliance standards. Flexibility is required to adapt to evolving project needs and design trends.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design layouts, interfaces, and user experiences for web applications and sites
• Collaborate with developers and engineers to implement designs effectively
• Ensure web solutions comply with accessibility (WCAG), privacy, and usability standards
• Create wireframes, mockups, and design specifications
• Maintain consistency in branding and visual identity across platforms
• Optimize web designs for performance, responsiveness, and mobile use
• Participate in testing and feedback cycles to improve user experience
• Document design standards, style guides, and assets

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Web Design, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in web or UI/UX design
• Strong portfolio showcasing web and application design projects
• Proficiency with design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and responsive design principles
• Excellent communication, creativity, and problem-solving skills
• Flexibility to support multiple projects and evolving technologies

NICE TO HAVE

• Public-sector or regulated industry experience
• Knowledge of JavaScript or front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue)
• Experience with accessibility and usability testing
