Web Designer

Design and develop visually engaging, user-friendly websites that align with client or company goals. Collaborate with developers, marketers, and content creators to produce responsive and accessible web experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Website Design & Layout

Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for websites.

Design website layouts, navigation, and interface elements.

Select appropriate color schemes, fonts, and imagery to reflect brand identity.

User Experience (UX) & User Interface (UI)

Ensure websites are intuitive, easy to navigate, and optimized for user engagement.

Conduct usability testing and make design adjustments based on feedback.

Responsive & Mobile Design

Optimize websites for different devices and screen sizes.

Ensure compatibility across web browsers.

Collaboration & Communication

Work with web developers to implement designs accurately.

Coordinate with marketing teams for content integration.

Communicate design ideas clearly to stakeholders and clients.

Maintenance & Updates

Update existing websites with new design elements or functionality.

Ensure websites remain visually appealing and current with trends.

Technical Skills

Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and sometimes JavaScript.

Familiarity with design tools like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, or Sketch.

Understanding of SEO and web accessibility standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

Strong creative and artistic abilities.

Good understanding of color theory, typography, and layout principles.

Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Experience with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, Wix, or Shopify (optional but preferred).

Optional Enhancements Depending on Company:

Experience with motion graphics or animation.

Knowledge of e-commerce design principles.

Familiarity with front-end development frameworks.
