Duties

• Design and develop visually appealing websites using a strong foundation in digital design, typography, layout, and visual aesthetics.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups with tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or InVision to visualize concepts clearly before development.
• Implement responsive web design principles to ensure optimal performance across desktops, tablets, and smartphones.
• Collaborate with developers to translate designs into functional websites using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks like Angular or React.
• Enhance user experience (UX) by conducting user research, usability testing, and analyzing web analytics data to refine interfaces.
• Optimize websites for search engines (SEO) and web accessibility standards to reach wider audiences effectively.
• Maintain and update existing websites through content management systems such as WordPress or Drupal while ensuring website security and performance.
• Incorporate motion graphics and interactive elements using Adobe After Effects or Adobe Animate to create engaging visual effects.
• Conduct website maintenance tasks including troubleshooting issues, updating plugins or scripts, and ensuring compatibility with evolving technologies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in web design with a strong portfolio showcasing digital design, and responsive layouts.
• Skilled in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and Adobe Creative Suite tools.
• Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress or Drupal for website maintenance and updates.
• Knowledge of web analytics tools including Google Analytics 360 and Adobe Analytics to assess site performance.
• Experience with web accessibility standards (WCAG) and usability best practices to ensure inclusive digital experiences.
• Understanding of SEO principles and digital marketing strategies to enhance online visibility.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git for collaborative development workflows.
• Knowledge of back-end technologies like MySQL or SQL databases is a plus for integrating dynamic content.
