About the Role

Manski Media is looking for a graphic design-focused Web Designer to join our in-house team. If you love crafting beautiful, clean, strategic websites and also know your way around the build side of things (especially in Webflow), you’ll fit right in.

This role blends high-end visual design with technical aptitude to create strategic, conversion-driven websites for a wide range of industries. We use Webflow for the majority of our builds, so experience there is a big plus—but if you're a quick learner with a strong eye for design and layout, we’ll help you level up fast.

Oh, and this is 100% in-office. We believe great collaboration happens when we’re all in the same room, solving problems and building cool things together.

What You’ll Be DoingWebsite Design & UX

  • Design responsive, on-brand websites that reflect both strategy and style
  • Turn briefs and rough ideas into polished visual layouts and user flows
  • Create clean, conversion-minded UI/UX that works across desktop and mobile

Webflow Development

  • Build out websites using Webflow’s CMS, animations, and structure
  • Manage site updates, structure, responsiveness, and SEO basics
  • Handle small development tweaks and platform-based problem-solving

Collaboration & Workflow

  • Work closely with strategists, copywriters, and designers to bring each site to life
  • Stay organized, manage your own deadlines, and communicate clearly with the team
  • Help evolve our website creation process—both technically and creatively

Skills & Experience You’ll Need

  • Strong visual design skills with a portfolio to back it up
  • Experience with Webflow (preferred) or similar platforms like WordPress, Shopify, Squarespace, etc.
  • A solid grasp of responsive layout, spacing, structure, and UX principles
  • Tools you should be comfy with: Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and maybe even a little HTML/CSS understanding
  • Excellent attention to detail—you catch things before they go live
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects and stay on top of deliverables
  • Eagerness to take feedback, improve, and grow in your craft

Bonus Points For

  • SEO-savvy: understanding tags, site structure, and how content affects performance
  • Funnel or landing page design experience
  • Copywriting, branding, or messaging chops
  • Light animation skills using Webflow’s interaction tools
  • Experience coaching others or documenting best practices

Adaptability Is Key: AI Is Part of the Future

We don’t expect you to be an AI expert, but we do expect you to be open to learning. AI tools are quickly becoming a major part of modern design and development workflows—from speeding up layout testing to refining user experience and design QA. If you're the kind of person who embraces change and adapts quickly, you'll thrive here.

This Role Is In-Office Only

Just to reiterate: this is a fully in-office role in Bend, Oregon. We collaborate live, in-person, every day.

Application Process: Required Design Challenge

If your resume and portfolio catch our attention, we’ll invite you to complete a short design assignment. Here’s how it works:

  • You’ll receive a brief for a fictional client
  • You’ll design a homepage mockup based on that brand and goals (Webflow, Figma, PDF—your call)
  • We’ll evaluate your layout, strategy, and creativity

Note: This is only sent to applicants we believe may be a strong fit. It's a required step before interviews—so if you're not up for showing off your skills, this isn’t your gig.
