About Geek Powered Studios

Geek Powered Studios is a full-service digital marketing agency based in Austin, Texas. Our in-house team of designers, developers, and marketers build high-performing websites and campaigns that drive measurable growth for our clients. We believe in collaboration, accountability, and doing great work that makes a difference.

Position Overview

We’re looking for a Web Designer & Integrations Specialist who can take client ideas from concept to completion — designing beautiful, conversion-focused websites and ensuring they perform flawlessly once built.

You’ll work primarily in Webflow, WordPress, and Shopify, creating custom designs, handling light-to-moderate development, and managing integrations like CallRail, GA4, and Tag Manager. If you love bringing design and functionality together — and you’re just as comfortable inside Figma as you are troubleshooting a script — this role is for you.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and develop responsive, high-performing websites in Webflow, WordPress, and Shopify
  • Translate client goals into compelling wireframes and visual layouts using Figma and Relume
  • Implement and test forms, pixels, and tracking integrations (GA4, GTM, CallRail, Zapier, Meta Pixel)
  • Handle technical troubleshooting and moderate customizations in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Apply CRO best practices to landing pages and key conversion paths
  • QA builds across browsers and devices to ensure flawless performance
  • Collaborate with our design, SEO, PPC, and account teams to bring marketing strategies to life
  • Participate in client kickoff and troubleshooting calls as needed (limited client-facing work)
  • Maintain detailed project documentation within ClickUp and shared systems
  • Support both new builds and post-launch maintenance

What We’re Looking For

  • 4–5 years of agency experience building and launching marketing-driven sites
  • Strong portfolio showcasing visual design, layout, and UX/UI principles
  • Advanced skills in Webflow, with strong experience in WordPress and Shopify (including theme and Liquid customization)
  • Proven ability to conceptualize, wireframe, and design within Figma and Relume
  • Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (able to write and troubleshoot scripts as needed)
  • Hands-on experience with GA4, GTM, CallRail, Zapier, and Meta Pixel
  • Strong understanding of CRO principles, responsive design, and performance optimization
  • Experience with MarkUp.io, ClickUp, Slack, and Google Workspace
  • Detail-oriented, process-driven, and comfortable owning projects from start to finish
  • Must be U.S.-based and eligible for W2 employment

Remote-Work Expectations

We’re remote-first, but not hands-off. You should have a dedicated workspace, reliable internet, and the ability to manage your own time. Communicate proactively, stay accountable, and adapt quickly when challenges arise.

Success in This Role Looks Like

  • Visually engaging designs that reflect client goals and brand voice
  • Sites that are responsive, user-friendly, and conversion-ready that perform beautifully on every device
  • Smooth, on-time launches with clean QA results and accurate tracking
  • Clear documentation and collaboration with internal teams

Why You’ll Love Working Here:

  • Remote-first team with a flexible, supportive culture
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) with company match
  • Paid holidays + PTO
  • Smart, collaborative team that values performance and ownership

How to Apply

Please include the following with your application:

  • A portfolio with at least four relevant website projects that demonstrate both design and implementation skills (Webflow, WordPress, and/or Shopify builds preferred)
  • A brief summary of your role in each project — e.g., “designed and built in Webflow,” “handled WordPress theme customization,” etc.
  • Your resume and a short note or cover letter highlighting your experience with multi-platform builds, integrations, and client collaboration
  • Optional: any live site links or case studies showing conversion or performance results (if you have them)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year

Benefits:

  • 401(k)
  • 401(k) matching
  • Dental insurance
  • Health insurance
  • Life insurance
  • Paid time off
  • Vision insurance

Application Question(s):

  • How many years of experience do you have with Webflow?
  • How many years of experience do you have with Shopify/Liquid?

Location:

  • Texas (Required)
