Overview
We’re looking for a versatile Web Designer with strong SEO and content management skills. This hybrid role blends creative web design with data-driven content and search optimization. You’ll spend about half your time designing and maintaining engaging, high-performing websites, and the other half enhancing site visibility, optimizing for search engines, and improving content performance.
Key Responsibilities
Web Design (50%)

Design and build WordPress websites using themes and page builders like Elementor.

Add and format content including text, images, videos, and basic SEO.

Perform quality control (QC) to ensure websites look great and function properly.

Support and maintain existing client sites and make updates as needed through ticketing system.

Follow project timelines and communicate progress clearly with the team.
SEO & Content Optimization (50%)

Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and SEO audits to identify content and optimization opportunities.

Optimize on-page elements (titles, metadata, internal linking, and structured data).

Create or edit on-site copy that balances creativity, clarity, and keyword intent.

Build SEO landing pages and structured content templates that scale across site categories or products.

Use and monitor organic performance using Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO tools like SEMrush.

Collaborate with design and dev teams to ensure SEO best practices are implemented including technical SEO improvements (site speed, crawlability, indexing).
Qualifications

1–3 years experience in web design

Experience managing content and SEO strategy, including local SEO and content building

Good understanding of front-end layout and design, HTML/CSS, scripting is a plus

Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc

Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, Search Console, Tag Manager, and SEO analysis platforms

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work

Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines

Eagerness to learn new tools
