Web Designer & WordPress Developer

We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to fill a role as a Web Designer and WordPress Developer for Akarat.com. The ideal candidate will be responsible for both the aesthetic design and the technical development of our platform, ensuring a seamless, high-performance, and visually appealing user experience. This role requires a blend of creative design skills and robust front-end and back-end development expertise.

Responsibilities:

· Design & User Experience (UX/UI): Create visually appealing, user-friendly, and responsive designs for the property portal across various devices.

· WordPress Development: Build, customize, and maintain the WordPress CMS, including the creation of custom themes and plugins specific to real estate needs (e.g., property listings, search filters, map integrations).

· Coding & Implementation: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and PHP.

· Performance Optimization: Optimize the website for maximum speed, scalability, and core web vitals, implementing caching strategies and code minimization techniques.

· Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team, content creators and other developers to translate business requirements and design mockups into functional web features.

· Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues, bugs, and cross-browser compatibility problems promptly.

· SEO Best Practices: Implement and ensure the website adheres to search engine optimization (SEO) best practices to improve visibility and search rankings.

· Third-Party Integrations: Integrate third-party services and APIs, such as CRM systems, email platforms, and analytics tools, to enhance functionality.

· Security & Backups: Implement security measures to protect the website from vulnerabilities and manage regular updates and backups.

· Social Media: Develop, create, and manage social media content to promote property listings and drive engagement for the real estate portal

Technical Skills:

• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and PHP.
• Strong knowledge of the WordPress core, theme development, and plugin architecture.
• Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) or Figma/Sketch.
• Experience with front-end frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, React) and code versioning tools like Git is highly desirable.
• Working knowledge of MySQL or related database management systems.
