Web Designer/Developer

We are seeking a talented and proactive Website Designer to join our team on a contract basis, with the potential for a full-time employment offer based on performance (if desired). The ideal candidate should have a strong background in both visual design and technical implementation using the Elementor WordPress builder to create and execute high-quality, conversion-focused websites. A deep understanding of modern design principles and a proven track record of bringing designs to life seamlessly in WordPress are essential for this role.

In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our clients' investor relations (IR) presence is cutting-edge, visually compelling, and built for maximum engagement. Your expertise in UI/UX and technical precision will directly contribute to how we help companies elevate their brand and connect with their target investors effectively.

Deliverables

• Design and Implement custom WordPress websites from concept through final execution, focusing on intuitive user experience (UX) and appealing user interfaces (UI).
• Utilize Elementor and Elementor Pro to architect, style, and customize high-quality, responsive web pages and templates that strictly adhere to client branding and design specifications.
• Translate design mockups and wireframes into functional, pixel-perfect WordPress pages using the Elementor builder.
• Ensure design consistency and brand alignment across all elements of the website.
• Conduct design audits and testing to ensure optimal display and functionality across various devices and browsers (mobile-first design).
• Collaborate closely with our content and project management teams to translate client requirements and content strategy into a successful visual design.
• Implement basic SEO best practices within the design structure, such as proper heading hierarchy and image optimization for the web.
• Stay current with the latest web design trends, Elementor features, and WordPress developments.
• Provide ongoing design support and necessary visual updates for existing websites.

Requirements

• Portfolio is Required: A strong, diverse portfolio showcasing multiple live WordPress websites with a clear demonstration of your expertise in both design aesthetic and practical implementation using Elementor. This will be the primary factor in our hiring decision.
• Design Expertise: Proven experience in modern web design principles (UX/UI), typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
• Elementor Proficiency: Must have extensive hands-on experience with Elementor including custom template creation, dynamic content implementation, and advanced styling.
• Technical Implementation: Strong ability to translate a static design into a dynamic, responsive WordPress website using the Elementor builder with minimal need for custom code.
• Attention to Detail: Exceptional eye for detail to ensure designs are implemented perfectly and consistently across all pages and devices.
• Front-end Basics: Foundational knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3 to make minor design tweaks and troubleshoot styling issues within Elementor.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent ability to troubleshoot and resolve design display issues, Elementor widget conflicts, and layout challenges.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with the team and communicate design concepts to non-designers.
• Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, manage your own time, and meet project deadlines while maintaining high design quality.
