Full Stack Web Developer — On-site (India)

About The Opportunity

A fast-paced IT services and digital solutions company operating in web development, e‑commerce and SaaS product delivery. We build user-centric, performance-optimized websites and web applications that power customer acquisition, conversion and long-term product value for clients across industries. This on-site role is ideal for engineers who enjoy end-to-end ownership of front-end interfaces and back-end services.

Role & Responsibilities

• Develop, test and maintain responsive web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (React preferred) and server-side Node.js/Express services.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with relational or NoSQL databases (MySQL/Postgres/MongoDB).
• Translate UI/UX designs into pixel-perfect, accessible and SEO-friendly interfaces; ensure cross-browser and device compatibility.
• Optimize application performance (bundle size, lazy loading, caching) and implement front-end best practices to improve page speed and UX.
• Write clear, maintainable code with unit/integration tests, conduct code reviews and follow Git-centred workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot production issues, support deployments, monitor application health and participate in sprint planning within an Agile team.
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• 1+ years professional experience building web applications as a full-stack or web developer.
• Strong HTML5, CSS3 (Sass/LESS) and JavaScript (ES6+) skills; experience with React (or Angular/Vue).
• Hands-on Node.js + Express and familiarity with designing RESTful APIs.
• Practical experience with MySQL/Postgres and/or MongoDB; comfortable writing efficient queries and schema design.
• Proficient with Git, code reviews, and basic CI/CD tooling; familiarity with Docker for local/dev environments.
• Good debugging skills, performance optimisation experience and attention to cross-browser accessibility and SEO basics.
  
  

Preferred

• Experience with TypeScript, Next.js/SSR frameworks, headless CMS or e-commerce platforms (Shopify/CommerceTools).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and production monitoring tools; automated testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress).
