Web Developer

Our Client, EVI Industries, a publicly traded company and a national leader in the commercial laundry industry, is hiring! We’re seeking a Web Developer with experience in Shopify and/or PHP to build, customize, and maintain our eCommerce platforms.

You’ll collaborate with marketing, design, and operations teams to deliver seamless online experiences that drive sales and customer engagement. This is a hands-on role where you’ll develop new features, optimize performance, and integrate third-party platforms and APIs.

What You’ll Do

• Build and customize Shopify themes, templates, and storefronts
• Develop, test, and deploy site features and enhancements (Shopify Liquid or PHP-based)
• Integrate third-party tools, APIs, payment systems, and custom apps
• Troubleshoot and resolve site issues, ensuring uptime and usability
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams on storefront updates and campaigns
• Support integrations with Bynder DAM and Akeneo PIM for product and content management

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of web development experience in Shopify (Liquid, apps) or PHP-based development
• Strong skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (React or Vue a plus)
• Experience with API integrations and eCommerce platforms
• Understanding of eCommerce best practices and SEO fundamentals
• Experience with Git/version control and agile workflows
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Node.js and Azure Functions for integrations and automation
• Experience with Shopify Plus, API development, or custom app creation
• Knowledge of Bynder DAM and/or Akeneo PIM
• Awareness of UX/UI design principles
• Familiarity with other eCommerce platforms (Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce)
