Web Developer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Web Developer with deep expertise in WordPress (including Elementor) and Shopify platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong eye for design, solid technical skills in custom theme and plugin development, and a deep understanding of responsive, high-performing websites. You will play a lead role in building and optimizing websites that are fast, secure, scalable, and visually engaging.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and maintenance of websites built on WordPress and Shopify.
• Build and customize WordPress themes (including Elementor-based designs) and Shopify themes from scratch or based on client requirements.
• Develop custom plugins, apps, and integrations for both platforms.
• Optimize websites for SEO, performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketers to implement visually appealing and conversion-focused web experiences.
• Manage e-commerce features, including product setup, checkout customization, and third-party integrations (payment gateways, shipping, CRM, etc.).
• Ensure the security, stability, and performance of websites through ongoing monitoring, updates, and best practices.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and debug complex problems efficiently.
• Lead and mentor junior developers, ensuring high code quality through code reviews and guidance.
• Stay updated with the latest web trends, tools, and best practices in WordPress, Shopify, and front-end development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of professional experience in web development.
• Deep expertise in WordPress, including:
• Custom theme and plugin development
• Elementor Pro and other page builders
• ACF, CPTs, WP Query, Hooks/Filters
• Solid experience with Shopify, including:
• Liquid templating
• Theme customization and app integration
• Shopify CLI and REST/GraphQL APIs
• Strong front-end skills: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, Bootstrap.
• Proficiency with PHP and basic MySQL queries.
• Familiarity with version control (Git) and deployment tools.
• Experience with SEO best practices, page speed optimization (Lighthouse, GTmetrix).
• Comfortable working with Figma, Adobe XD, or other design tools.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and juggle multiple projects.

Preferred/Bonus Skills:

• Experience with WooCommerce and Shopify Plus.
• Understanding of Headless CMS or Jamstack architecture.
• Knowledge of React, Vue, or Alpine.js is a plus.
• Familiarity with server management, cPanel, or Cloudflare.
• Experience with API integrations (REST, GraphQL, third-party tools like Mailchimp, HubSpot, Klaviyo, etc.).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹65,000.00 per month
