Job Description

We are looking for a creative and skilled Web Developer to join our team at AWK Technologies.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in developing custom websites, e-commerce platforms, and corporate sites using modern web technologies.

You’ll be responsible for building high-quality, SEO-optimized, and performance-driven websites that deliver great user experiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom websites and e-commerce stores
• Work with WordPress (custom themes, plugins, WooCommerce)
• Implement responsive, mobile-friendly, and SEO-optimized designs
• Collaborate with designers to bring mockups to life
• Integrate APIs, payment gateways, and third-party tools
• Debug, test, and deploy projects on hosting environments
• Stay up-to-date with modern development trends and tools

Requirements

• 1–3 years of proven experience in web development
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, PHP, and MySQL
• Proficiency in WordPress (theme customization, plugin development)
• Experience with e-commerce websites (WooCommerce or custom)
• Understanding of SEO-friendly development practices
• Familiarity with website performance optimization
• Laravel or other frameworks experience is a plus
• Designing skills (Adobe XD, Figma, or similar) are a major plus and will significantly increase your chance of selection
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
