ob Title: Web Developer (Marketplace Website Development)Overview

We are looking for an experienced Web Developer to design, build, and launch a full-featured online marketplace website. The developer will be responsible for creating a secure, scalable platform where users can register, list products or services, make purchases, process payments, and interact with one another. This role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to deliver a high-quality user experience from end to end.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop a complete marketplace website from concept to deployment.
• Work with the team to gather requirements and translate them into technical features and workflows.
• Build responsive, intuitive UI/UX for buyers and sellers.
• Develop robust backend architecture, including APIs, databases, and server logic.
• Implement marketplace features such as:
• User registration & authentication
• Seller profiles and dashboards
• Product/service listing and management
• Search and filtering system
• Shopping cart or service request functionality
• Order management
• Messaging system between users
• Ratings & reviews
• Secure payment gateway integration (Stripe, PayPal, etc.)
• Admin panel for platform management
• Ensure security, including data protection, fraud prevention, and safe transactions.
• Optimize website for speed, performance, and scalability.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and QA across browsers and devices.
• Provide technical documentation and ongoing maintenance/support after launch.

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience building web applications or marketplace-style platforms.
• Strong skills in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Vue, Angular, etc.
• Strong back-end experience with one or more: Node.js, PHP/Laravel, Python/Django, Ruby on Rails, or similar.
• Experience working with SQL or NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Experience integrating payment gateways and third-party APIs.
• Understanding of secure authentication, user roles, and access control.
• Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows.
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and deliver results.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience developing marketplaces, e-commerce platforms, or SaaS products.
• Knowledge of cloud hosting (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
• Experience with microservices architecture (optional).
• Understanding of UI/UX design principles and tools (Figma, Adobe XD).
• Experience building scalable platforms with high-traffic environments.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
