Web Developer

We are seeking a creative and technically skilled Web Developer and Designer who also has knowledge of SEO and PPC strategies. This role combines web design, development, and digital marketing expertise to create user-friendly, optimized, and visually appealing websites.

The ideal candidate will have experience with both front-end and back-end development and be comfortable collaborating with the marketing team to enhance online visibility and drive traffic through organic and paid search strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop responsive, mobile-friendly websites that offer a seamless user experience.
• Expert in front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, HTML5, jQuery, APIs.
• Strong understanding of PHP backend development.
• Hands-on experience with code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, and SVN.
• Experienced working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector and Firebug.
• Use HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and relevant CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Shopify) to create and maintain visually engaging and functional web pages.
• Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify stores, including theme customization using Liquid.
• Ensure websites are optimized for performance, speed, and user experience.
• Apply SEO techniques to improve website visibility, including meta tags, keyword optimization, and site structure.
• Conduct basic SEO audits and implement strategies to enhance search engine rankings.
• Assist in the setup and optimization of PPC campaigns, collaborating with the marketing team to maximize ROI.
• Support the development of landing pages and web content for paid campaigns.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in web design and development, with a strong portfolio of responsive websites.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with CMS platforms like WordPress.
• Basic knowledge of SEO best practices and experience with SEO tools.
• Understanding of PPC campaigns and ability to support landing page creation and optimization.
• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
