Job Overview: We are seeking a talented and motivated Shopify Developer with a minimum of 2.5 years of experience to join our growing team. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of Shopify development, a sharp eye for UI/UX, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients. A proactive, AI-first mindset and a passion for delivering scalable, high-quality solutions are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Take an AI-first approach to optimize development workflows, automation, and client solutions.
- Translate business requirements into high-quality eCommerce solutions.
- Work closely with designers to turn UI/UX designs into responsive and accessible Shopify themes.
- Integrate and configure third-party Shopify apps and APIs.
- Provide technical guidance and propose optimal solutions based on client requirements.
- Perform thorough testing and quality assurance to ensure smooth functionality across devices and browsers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and deliver sprints on time.
- Optimize website performance for speed, SEO, and conversion.
- Provide post-launch support and enhancements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 2.5+ years of hands-on experience in Shopify development.
- Strong understanding of Liquid templating language, Shopify theme architecture, and app integrations.
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive design techniques.
- Solid understanding of UI/UX principles and ability to implement intuitive user experiences.
- Strong communication skills – capable of understanding client needs and translating them into practical, scalable solutions.
- Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot) to streamline development or enhance solutions is a big plus.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Basic knowledge of SEO best practices and performance optimization.
- Experience with Shopify Plus, Headless Shopify, or Hydrogen is a plus.
