Web Developer

We are looking for a skilled and experienced WordPress Developer to design, develop, and manage high-quality websites using the WordPress platform. The ideal candidate will handle both front-end and back-end development, including custom themes, plugins, and integrations. Experience with Shopify and strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, and modern web standards is highly valued. You will help build secure, scalable, high-performance, and SEO-friendly websites.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites from concept to deployment.
• Create and modify custom WordPress themes and plugins using PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Customize existing themes, plugins, and page builders such as Elementor, Gutenberg, or WPBakery.
• Collaborate with designers, content teams, and marketing teams to implement website features.
• Optimize websites for performance, responsiveness, SEO, and accessibility.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website issues efficiently.
• Ensure website security, regular updates, backups, and best practices.
• Integrate third-party APIs and tools, including payment gateways, CRMs, and analytics tools.
• Work with Shopify for eCommerce projects, including theme customization and store integrations when required.
• Use version control systems such as Git and follow clean coding standards.
• Stay updated with the latest web development trends and technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer (portfolio or examples required).
• Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience in custom WordPress theme and plugin development.
• Understanding of WordPress architecture, hooks, actions, and filters.
• Familiarity with Shopify development or integrations is a plus.
• Knowledge of SEO fundamentals, performance optimization, and responsive design.
• Experience with version control tools like Git.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
