We are seeking a Website Developer with a primary focus on building new websites and high-converting landing pages. This role is ideal for someone who understands what it takes to build a strong, modern, performance-ready website from strategy to launch.

This is a remote position requiring daily collaboration with internal teams and occasional client-facing meetings. 9-5PM EST

Role Overview

The Website Developer will be responsible for building, launching, and optimizing new client websites across multiple platforms. This role requires strong WordPress expertise, familiarity with various builders and hosting environments, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced agency environment.

This is a performance-focused development role. The ideal candidate understands not just how to build a website — but how to build one that loads fast, tracks properly, and supports marketing goals.

Primary Responsibilities

Website Builds Build new websites from approved designs and strategy documents Develop high-converting landing pages aligned with paid media campaigns Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility Implement ADA-compliant structures Conduct QA testing prior to launch Prepare sites for launch including final optimization and configuration

Platform Expertise Strong WordPress knowledge (required) Experience with multiple builders (Elementor, Divi, WPBakery, etc.) Familiarity with Wix (required – FMO Media is a Wix Partner) Comfortable working across hosting platforms (SiteGround, WP Engine, GoDaddy, Bluehost, etc.) Manage domain connections, DNS settings, SSL certificates, and hosting setup

Performance & Tracking Implementation Install and configure GA4 and Google Tag Manager Implement Meta, Google Ads, TikTok, and other tracking pixels Ensure accurate conversion tracking before launch Align landing pages with campaign objectives and funnel strategy

Basic SEO & Performance Knowledge Implement on-page SEO best practices (meta titles, descriptions, headers) Structure pages properly for crawlability and internal linking Optimize site speed and Core Web Vitals Support SEO recommendations provided by strategy team

Collaboration & Project Management Work closely with Creative and Paid Media teams to translate designs into functioning websites Manage multiple builds at different stages simultaneously Participate in internal planning and status meetings Communicate blockers and timeline updates proactively Ensure deliverables meet internal quality standards before client review

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience building websites Strong WordPress experience Familiarity with Wix and multiple builders Basic understanding of SEO fundamentals Experience setting up GA4 and tracking pixels Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects Strong attention to detail Comfortable in a fast-paced agency environment

Hourly Rate Range: $5-$8 USD
