JOB SUMMARY

The Web Developer will be responsible for developing and optimizing client websites and landing pages using WordPress and PHP. Additionally, you will support SEO activities, including implementing content strategies, on-page optimization, and keyword strategies to improve rankings on major search engines.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop, optimize, and maintain client websites and landing pages using WordPress and PHP.
• Implement SEO strategies, including on-page optimization, keyword research, and content recommendations to enhance organic search performance.
• Collaborate with the SEO team to ensure best practices are integrated into newly developed code.
• Optimize website architecture, content, and linking structures to improve SEO rankings for target keywords.
• Work closely with other teams to align SEO strategies with content creation and programming.
• Conduct ongoing keyword discovery, expansion, and optimization to stay ahead of search trends.
• Monitor and analyze website performance using tools like Google Analytics and FB Pixel.
• Ensure websites are secure, user-friendly, and optimized for performance.
• Modify existing themes and plugins to meet evolving business needs

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

• Proven experience in web development with a strong focus on WordPress and PHP.
• Proficiency in modern HTML/CSS and a solid understanding of web application development, including security and session management.
• Experience with web hosting, Google Analytics, and FB Pixel integration.
• Basic knowledge of SEO processes and tools to support optimization efforts.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
• Skilled in custom theme and plugin development

EDUCATION

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in web development, with a focus on WordPress, PHP, and SEO.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED6,000.00 per month
