Job Description – Website Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and innovative Internal Website Developer to design, develop, maintain, and continuously improve the organization's internal websites, portals, dashboards, and web-based applications.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in modern web development technologies, responsive UI/UX, cloud platforms, APIs, databases, security, automation, and AI-enabled development tools. The role will work closely with Operations, Customer care , Accounts, Marketing, and other teams to convert business requirements into reliable and user-friendly digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Website & Application Development

• Develop and maintain internal websites, employee portals, intranet platforms, dashboards, and web applications.
• Build responsive, mobile-friendly, and user-friendly interfaces.
• Convert business requirements and workflows into functional web solutions.
• Develop reusable and scalable components for future applications.
• Integrate internal systems, third-party applications, APIs, and business platforms.

Modern Technology & Innovation

• Stay updated with the latest web development technologies, frameworks, and industry best practices.
• Implement modern frameworks such as React.js, Next.js, Angular, Vue.js, Node.js, or equivalent technologies.
• Explore and implement AI-assisted development, automation, chatbots, intelligent search, and AI-powered business tools where applicable.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend solutions that improve efficiency, productivity, and user experience.

Backend & Database

• Develop secure backend services and REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, or equivalent.
• Design efficient database structures, queries, and integrations.
• Ensure data integrity, performance, scalability, and appropriate access controls.

Cloud, Deployment & DevOps

• Work with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Manage application deployment, hosting, monitoring, and performance.
• Use Git/GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket for source-code management and collaboration.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment practices where required.
• Monitor applications and resolve production issues efficiently.

Security & Performance

• Follow web security best practices including authentication, authorization, encryption, and secure API development.
• Protect internal applications against common vulnerabilities such as OWASP Top 10 risks.
• Optimize website speed, database performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and performance improvements.

Business & User Support

• Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements and identify opportunities for digital transformation.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot website/application issues.
• Train internal users when required.
• Prepare technical documentation, user guides, and system process documentation.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with modern frameworks such as React.js / Next.js / Angular / Vue.js.
• Experience with Node.js, Python, PHP, .NET, or another modern backend technology.
• Good knowledge of REST APIs and third-party integrations.
• Strong database knowledge in SQL and/or NoSQL.
• Experience with Git and version control systems.
• Understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of responsive design and UI/UX principles.
• Understanding of web application security and performance optimization.
• Experience with testing and debugging tools.

Preferred / Future-Ready Skills

• Experience with AI/ML APIs and Generative AI applications.
• Knowledge of OpenAI/LLM integrations, AI agents, RAG, or AI-powered automation.
• Experience with Docker and containerization.
• Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Power BI, analytics dashboards, or business intelligence platforms.
• Knowledge of Progressive Web Apps (PWA) and modern web architecture.
• Familiarity with low-code/no-code automation platforms.
• Understanding of accessibility standards such as WCAG.
• Experience developing scalable enterprise applications.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of relevant experience in web development or application development.
• Proven experience developing and maintaining production websites or web applications.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Ability to independently manage multiple projects and priorities.

Pay: From ₹30,000.00 per month
