Web Developer - Panaji Goa

Responsibilities:

• Understand and wrrite clean, functional, and efficient code primarily using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build new features and applications.
• Develop, maintain, and customize websites built on the WordPress CMS platform, including theme and plugin development/modification.
• Have a good eye for design aesthetics
• Integrate data from various back-end services, databases, and APIs, often within the WordPress ecosystem.
• Ensure all web properties are fully responsive and optimized for a consistent user experience across various browsers and mobile devices.
• Optimize application performance for speed and scalability, and implement SEO best practices.
• Take website backups regularly and handle website migrations as required.
• Ensure responsive website design across devices
• Assist clients with hosting and domain purchase and other operations
• Work with the Digital Marketing team to integrate analytics and tracking codes on websites
• Coordinate with the Design and Content team to ensure all-around consistency in communication (style, fonts, images, overall design).
• Ensure websites are optimized for loading time, page speed, etc. according to Google Lighthouse audits

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent demonstrated work experience.
• Expert knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript (ES6+), Wordpress.
• 0-2 years of professional experience as a Web Developer or in a similar coding role
• Meticulous approach to work with a high degree of independent judgment and accountability.
• Strong analytical skills and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate technical ideas clearly to both technical and non-technical staff
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work in a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
