Position Overview

This position is for Web Developers with a strong command over Shopify development, WordPress development, and design-to-HTML conversion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and customizing Shopify themes, implementing dynamic features using meta fields, and ensuring seamless storefront functionality. In parallel, they will handle WordPress theme development, plugin integration, and site optimization. A solid understanding of responsive design principles and the ability to convert design files (Figma, PSD, etc.) into clean, functional HTML/CSS layouts is essential.

Key ResponsibilitiesShopify Development

• Develop and customize Shopify themes using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Implement and manage meta fields, dynamic content, and custom sections
• Optimize Shopify storefronts for performance, responsiveness, and SEO
• Integrate third-party Shopify apps and configure store settings
• Collaborate with designers and project managers to translate UI/UX into functional code
• Troubleshoot and resolve Shopify-related bugs and issues
• Stay updated on Shopify platform updates and best practices

WordPress Development

• Design and develop custom WordPress themes and templates
• Customize existing themes and plugins to meet project requirements
• Implement responsive design and ensure cross-browser compatibility
• Integrate third-party plugins and APIs for enhanced functionality
• Maintain and update WordPress websites, ensuring security and performance
• Collaborate with content teams to ensure seamless CMS integration

General Web Development

• Convert design mockups (Figma, PSD, etc.) into responsive HTML/CSS layouts
• Maintain version control using Git
• Ensure accessibility standards and mobile-first development principles
• Document code and maintain clean development practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Shopify and WordPress development
• Proficiency in Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
• Experience with responsive design and mobile optimization
• Familiarity with Shopify meta fields, theme architecture, and app ecosystem
• Strong understanding of WordPress architecture, theme hierarchy, and plugin development
• Experience with Git and version control workflows
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
