Job Summary:

Tech4Life Enterprises is seeking a skilled and creative Web Developer with expertise in WordPress, Shopify, and eCommerce platforms to design, develop, and maintain high-performing websites and online stores.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building scalable eCommerce solutions, customizing themes and plugins, and optimizing websites for performance and conversions. Additionally, the role requires mid-level SEO expertise to ensure websites are search-engine optimized, user-friendly, and aligned with digital marketing strategies

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, develop, and maintain WordPress and Shopify websites for company products and services.
• Build and customize themes, plugins, and Shopify apps based on business requirements.
• Manage and optimize WooCommerce and Shopify stores, including product listings, checkout flows, and payment integrations.
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams to implement new features and campaigns.
• Perform on-page SEO optimization (meta tags, schema, page speed, URL structure, keyword implementation).
• Monitor and improve website performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Search Console, and SEO platforms.
• Ensure mobile responsiveness, cross-browser compatibility, and UI/UX best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve website and server-related issues efficiently.
• Manage website updates, backups, security, and server migrations.
• Implement and maintain technical SEO best practices including site speed optimization, indexing, and crawlability.
• Stay updated with emerging trends in WordPress, Shopify, eCommerce, and SEO.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in WordPress development and eCommerce platforms.
• Proven experience with Shopify development and store management.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and MySQL.
• Experience with WooCommerce and Shopify ecosystem (themes, plugins, apps).
• Working knowledge of mid-level SEO practices (on-page SEO, technical SEO basics, keyword optimization).
• Experience with page builders such as Elementor, WPBakery, or Divi.

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with focus on HR or Finance required Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
• Minimum 2–4 years of relevant experience in an administrative and/or finance role
• Prior experience in a private health sector company is preferred
