Yellow Flag Productions is a creative marketing agency blending award-winning storytelling, design, and AI technology to deliver meaningful brand experiences.

We’re seeking a Web Director to own and advance our technical web infrastructure, oversee back end and frontend site performance, security, integrations, and ensure an outstanding user experience for clients and our own brand. This role is back-end and systems focused, reporting to YFP’s Vice President of Communications.

What You’ll Do

Lead the vision and strategy for web platforms, ensuring technical excellence, reliability, and scalability.

• Manage and maintain company and client websites (WordPress/Elementor), including hosting, performance, and back-end maintenance, support and security.
• Oversee site architecture, API integrations, and database management.
• Help ensure compliance with accessibility (WCAG), SEO, and analytics tracking.
• Direct troubleshooting, updates, and system optimization across multiple properties.
• Collaborate with others to implement features and functionality.
• Mentor and guide web developers and contractors; manage vendor relationships.
• Keep web projects on track with effective budget, resource, and timeline management.
• Manage one full-time employee.

What We’re Looking For

7+ years of web development/engineering experience (back-end and full-stack preferred).

• 3+ years in a leadership role managing web teams or large-scale website projects (agency experience a plus).
• Expertise in WordPress, Elementor, PHP, MySQL, HTML/CSS, JavaScript, and back-end frameworks.
• Familiarity with server management, hosting environments, coding, and cloud platforms.
• Strong knowledge of web security, performance optimization, and SEO.
• Experience with integrations (APIs, CRM, marketing automation, e-commerce platforms).
• Ability to translate technical needs into scalable solutions that align with business and client goals.
• Strong project management and leadership skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Projected Total Compensation: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
