Web Game Developer Intern

Job Overview:
Techversol is looking for passionate and creative Web Game Developer Interns with a strong foundation in JavaScript and an interest in 3D graphics technologies like Three.js and WebGL. This internship is a great opportunity for individuals eager to kickstart their careers in web-based game development and interactive experiences. High-performing interns will be considered for full-time positions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of browser-based games and interactive experiences.
• Work closely with senior developers, designers, and artists to implement immersive, high-performance game features.
• Develop and optimize 2D/3D visuals using Three.js, WebGL, and other modern web graphics libraries.
• Participate in JavaScript-based coding, debugging, and testing of game modules.
• Help build responsive, interactive UI/UX elements using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks.
• Optimize performance across different browsers and devices.
• Research and experiment with emerging trends and technologies in web-based game development.
• Contribute creative ideas to gameplay, features, and visual presentation.
• Write clean, maintainable code and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, with a solid understanding of ES6+ features.
• Familiarity with Three.js, WebGL, or other JavaScript-based 3D rendering libraries.
• Basic understanding of rendering pipelines, shaders, or web-based animation principles.
• Experience with browser-based debugging tools and performance profiling.
• Good problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Enthusiastic about gaming, simulations, or interactive web experiences.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with any personal or academic web game projects.
• Understanding of canvas API, animation loops, or 3D geometry fundamentals.
• Experience with npm, Vite/Webpack, or module bundling in web development.
• Familiarity with Git or version control workflows.
• A portfolio or GitHub repository showcasing JavaScript or WebGL projects is a big plus.
