Job Title: Web & Graphic Designer

General Summary:
Manages web development for PMI Entertainment Group, driving website maintenance, performance, and strategic growth. This role will analyze web trends, implement updates, and own the digital development strategy. The successful candidate will have technical proficiency and strong collaboration with marketing managers on digital strategies, creative content, digital media integration, and web analytics.

Job Duties:

  • Demonstrates and embodies the PMI Entertainment Group Culture and Customer Service values.
  • Develops and maintains websites for PMI Entertainment Group and its business units, including implementing new features and functionality as needed.
  • Monitors website performance and adjusts as necessary.
  • Analyzes analytics data and report results and recommendations to the VP of Marketing & Sales on a regular basis.
  • Creates website images, integrates social media on websites, pixel placement, and the tracking and manipulation of feeds.
  • Ensures that layout and design are aligned, and enhances brand and production standards in a clear, concise manner.
  • Research web trends and updates web development tools accordingly and redesigning websites as needed.
  • Lead company’s web and app development strategy.
  • Creates and executes design solutions and collateral used for marketing, advertising, sales, and other forms of communication.
  • Serves as key member of the digital marketing and marketing manager teams. Collaborates to conceptualize and deliver projects on time.
  • Maintains SEO. Updates and maintains the CMS of all websites.
  • Consults with marketing/sales on digital and social media strategies, including creative asset creation, social media integration, pixel placement, and feed management.
  • Ensures design and layout standards are met to enhance brand and production quality.
  • Creates and executes design solutions and collateral for marketing, advertising, and sales.
  • Collaborates with marketing/sales and internal clients to deliver projects on time.
  • Uses a variety of design and editing tools, such as Adobe Creative Suite, to produce high-impact designs.
  • Communicates effectively and expresses positions respectfully and professionally.
  • Insures understanding of objective, audience, mode of distribution, content, style, tone, and budgetary considerations prior to starting a design project.
  • Proofs accurately and thoroughly/self-proofs prior to routing.
  • Assures that all materials leaving the department have been prepared according to customer approvals and production specifications.
  • Releases final art to chosen printer in the correct format and configuration needed, proofs pre-press and schedules delivery or installation.
  • Creates copy and develops headlines as requested.
  • Attends client meeting as needed.
  • Provides staff assistance to all departments concerning graphic & web arts or printing problems.
  • Archives finished jobs properly to ensure accessibility of files for future need.
  • Maintains knowledge of current trends and development in the field.
  • Responsible for following, observing, and participating in all Company related safety programs, procedures, and training as well as reporting potentially unsafe conditions.
  • Understands and follows workplace etiquette and behavior, portraying a professional appearance.
  • Maintain various company websites (update content, images, update plugins, troubleshoot issues with the websites, communicate with Carbonhouse/FirePixel/etc.).

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Knowledge of marketing, advertising and promotion programs at a level acquired through completion of a bachelor’s degree in fine arts, design, graphic arts, or related field.
  • Four years of experience in graphic design, and a full understanding of the development and promotion of advertising material and marketing tools.
  • High creativity, self-motivation, and forward-thinking mentality is required.
  • Interpersonal skills required to maintain positive customer relations with clients, local business representatives and a variety of company personnel when developing programs and promotional material.
  • Extensive working knowledge and skills of the following are required: Adobe Creative Suite (includes Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Acrobat), Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint. Thorough knowledge of desktop publishing and photo manipulation technologies are needed.
  • Must be able to operate a personal computer, scanner, printer, digital camera, and standard office equipment such as calculator, copy machine, and telephone.
  • Knowledge of WordPress and basic web programming.

Other Expectations:

  • Frequent mobility and/or sitting or standing required for extended periods of time. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer and standard office equipment. Requires hearing within normal range and visual acuity (with correction) sufficient to make artistic judgments about layout and design.
  • Creative mind required to originate and implement marketing ideas and concepts. Must understand vague and implicit instructions. Must be able to communicate providing verbal feedback in a professional manner. Must have the ability to give, receive, and analyze information, formulate work plans, prepare written materials, and articulate goals and action plans. Requires excellent interpersonal skills. Must be able to make effective decisions in supervisor’s absence.
  • Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive noise, dust, temperature, and the like.
