Web Team Lead

EZsolutions is seeking a motivated and talented Web Team Lead to join our growing team in Lexington. This is a unique growth opportunity for a skilled web developer who is ready to take the next step in their career.

The ideal candidate is bilingual, and is a strong hands-on developer with expertise in WordPress and Elementor who has a natural aptitude for collaboration and a desire to mentor others. In this role, you will continue to build exceptional websites while learning to lead projects, manage client relationships, and guide a small team of developers. You'll receive direct mentorship from our CTO to help you develop into a confident and effective leader.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Web Development

• Lead by example with hands-on development of custom WordPress websites, with a primary focus on the Elementor page builder.
• Architect and build responsive, high-performing, and user-friendly websites from design mockups.
• Serve as the go-to technical expert for the team, troubleshooting complex issues and promoting best practices.

2. Leadership Development & Team Mentorship

• Assist the CTO in leading a small team of developers, learning to delegate tasks and manage workflows.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and mentorship to junior developers, helping them solve problems and grow their skills.
• Learn to conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure high-quality output from the team.

3. Account & Project Management

• Serve as a main point of contact for a portfolio of clients, building strong, trusted relationships.
• Participate in and eventually lead client meetings, including discovery, kick-offs, and progress reviews, in both English and Spanish.
• Translate client needs into technical specifications and help manage project timelines and deliverables.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Must have at least 3 years of experience building custom WordPress websites, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work
• Professional fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) is ideal.
• Demonstrated interest and aptitude for leadership, mentorship, or team collaboration.
• Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS3
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• A strong desire to grow into a management role.
• Ability to work on-site at our Lexington, KY office.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience formally or informally leading projects or mentoring other developers.
• Experience in a client-facing role, such as an account manager or project manager.
• Experience with WooCommerce, SEO best practices, and website performance optimization.
• Experience working in a digital agency environment.

Pay: From $46,000.00 per year
